Critical Thinking

The voices in the text “Critical Thinking” by Wallace, Andrew, Tony Schirato, and Phillippa Bright were informing and factual, although their tone was soft which made it easy to read. They put themselves in an enlightening position because they were not just telling us what critical thinking is about but why it’s important and how to start thinking critically. I responded to their authoritative voice in a good way, because I didn’t question what they were saying and they had clearly done their research which made it easy to understand.

They used lots of different examples to back up what they were saying which made it more interesting as it gave you context that you can relate to making it easier to understand their ideas. I enjoyed reading this text because it informed you in such a way that it wasn’t demeaning, but helpful and gave insight to critical thinking.
